Indikation
PE Extension lines are part of infusion lines and are intended for use for infusion of solutions. They also participate for veinous and arterial pressure measurement. They are compatible with lipidic and blood infusion.
Beskrivning
Polyethylene extension lines intended to be connected to veinous or arterial catheters with a male Luer-lock connector at the distal end and a female Luer-lock connector at the proximal end.Lectrocath is supplied with colour-coded clip: red and blue.
The polyethylene material of the tube confers excellent chemical inertness limiting the interactions (adsorption, absorption...) with infused drugs.
- Lectrocath code 1155.xx have an internal/external diameter of 1.0 / 2.0 mm.
- Lectrocath code 1159.xx have an internal/external diameter of 1.5 / 2.5 mm.
These extension lines can be used under gravity and pressure until 2 bars when administering solutions.
They support a maximal pressure of 40 bar (580 psi) during injection.
