Indikation
Arterial Leadercath is mainly used for arterial access (radial, femoral, pedial, brachial artery). The Seldinger technique makes arterial puncture easier particularly in hypotensive patients with a weak peripheral pulse and when the arteries are atherosclerosed or narrow.

Beskrivning
Leadercath is a transparent catheter with radiopaque lines for arterial access, inserted using the Seldinger technique. It is supplied in a rigid blister pack containing:- 1 introducer needle
- 1 PE catheter tapered at the distal end, with anti-kinking sleeve and winged hub for the fixation of the device.
- 1 straight metallic guidewire
- 1 polyurethane extension tube (10 cm long) with arterial Bionector
