Indikation

The indications for this device are those of Boussignac CPAP or Weinmann Boussignac CPAP:

Acute pulmonary oedema (APO)
Dyspnea and acute respiratory distress
Severe asthma
Post-operative oxygenation in patients at risk of hypoxia (such as in cases of cardiothoracic surgery and abdominal surgery in obese patients)

Beskrivning

Device which fits in between the facial mask and the Boussignac CPAP.

Through a leak generated by the device, the FiO2 can be modified.

The FiO2 regulator device comes with an angle to avoid the patient receiving a direct flow of oxygen in the eyes.

This product allows to change the FiO2 in emergency conditions when air is not available (pre-hospital care).
Indeed, this product is perfectly adapted to COPD patients requiring ventilation assistance.

Possible values are 30%, 50% and 100%.
